Me? A saint?

Esther and Easter both tagged me for the holy card meme.

What picture would I use for my holy card, should I make it to sainthood, and of what cause(s) would I want to be patroness of?

Well, while I was thinking about it today I was thinking about how much I hate washing. I then came across this photo that my uncle took of me. I have no idea how old I am in it but I remember when he showed it to my mother, she was very upset that I had a photo taken with all the washing in the background. I then decided that this picture would be a perfect one for me if I was made a saint. I also thought that I could be the patron of mothers that hate washing. It has to be done by someone but it is such a tedious and drawn out job.

I want to tag the following for this meme:

Cathy

Jackie

Lisa

Leah

Athanasius contra mundum

that is a nice photo therese. i'd have to say you were about 9-10 there. my sister took one of me on a pony she had and it looked funny with me having my legs dangling over the pony:) i was about the same age as you were in that photo. i would use that photo of me on the pony as a pic. if i was ever to be a saint, it would be hopefully of those who suffer intense pain and a patron saint of the destitute and the poor. or patron saint of those who suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder.

As for washing, Therese, have you found that decluttering the kids' clothes has helped? It's helped me (although I still get behind with the washing).

Yes Louise it has helped. We have two washing machines and that has been great too. Putting two loads on at once gets us through it quickly.
