Sacraments are beautiful. It must be wonderful for her to step away from the priest as clean as the day she was baptised.
It's still a moment of wonder for me; wish I didn't wreck it so quickly afterwards!

Wonderful! We mark passage of time with this type of scarament. ie... was that before or after Aarons confirmation? etc. So thats 6 down 3 to go?

Congratulations to miss Amelia, and also a big welcome to little Joseph, nice to see everyone's smiles on the happy day of his Baptism.

congratulations Amelia!
No confessional for the children?

I like the fact that this looks like a peaceful celebration of God's loving forgiveness.
I wonder if our lower school does this.

Hi Kym,

I did make Amelia's dress and jacket.

Kelly,

Every time we have had first reconciliation in this parish, the children have gone to a priest on the altar. We have a confessional which we use for the sacrament each time we go but the first reconciliation has always been done on the altar.

Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research.
