Grand Torino.

We watched this movie tonight. It was very different to what I thought it would be but the message at the end was very powerful. If you get the chance, watch it.

My hubby and I watched this some time ago, and now I can't recall what it was about. I'll have to pick it up again. thanks for the review.

Great movie! It's a little rough for the younger crowd, but a definite Christian message at the end. Don't want to say too much or I'll spoil it for those who still want to see it.

It was hard to see Clint Eastwood so old, but that's what makes him such an awesome actor. He can show that vulnerability and still come off like the old "Dirty Harry" tough guy. He was believable.

We watched this a while back and I really liked it. I usually have a hard time with the swearing, can't stand it, but I felt like it made this character who he was. Swearing I think is used uneccesarily in nearly all movies but for some reason I could understand it in this movie, weird. Anyway, it was a powerful story although disturbing at times.

We loved the movie, too. It was hard to watch on several levels, but very good message.

It's unfortunate that R movies sometimes mean have better messages and more significant story-lines than the ridiculous PG-13 movies geared for middle schoolers. This movie had so many great moments and the ending...wow. Now, I wish they would make some great dramas suitable for middle school kids.

One of my top favorite movies! After I saw this, I had a new respect for Clint Eastwood. All I had seen of him previously was Space Cowboys!!

My husband and I watched Amazing Grace this weekend and it was phenomenal - definitely get it. You will have to screen it for verbal references to abuse first b/f your middle schoolers watch, but it was an appropriate movie for older kids!

i liked this movie too Therese :)

The movie 'extraordinary measures' is great - it's got Harrison Ford and Brendan Frasier in it.

I can't believe how big the baby is! So sweet!
