The begining of the soccer season.

Tonight Soccer started here. Tom and Amelia are playing in the under 8's and Madeline and Sam are playing in the under 14's. Daniel is coaching an under 8's team (not the team that Tom and Amelia are in).

Tonight was the first game. Tom's played but Amelia had to stay home since she has been home sick today. Daniel's team played Tom's team and it was a draw.

Madeline and Sam are playing now so I will update later how their games went.

Update. Sam and Madeline's team won too.

Great news. Soccer is a really great game!

I much prefer soccer to football. They don't seem to get as many injuries. First game was a fun night. I keep telling the children that it isn't about who wins but about having fun.

Yes I think so too Jackie. When we say Football we generally mean Australian rules football. I don't think anyone else plays the game like we play it.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
