Humane Vitae. 41st anniversary.

One of my favourite reasons for being a Catholic is the churches unwavering teaching against contraception. The church has always taught that contraception is evil and has a big negative affect on marriage and relationships.

Back in the 1960's when Humane Vitae was first written, many within the hierarchy were upset and believed that the Pope was wrong. In his encyclical though the Pope wrote what would happen if the church accepted contraception as a good.

Mr. H from all hands on deck has done a great job explaining why the church is right and what the consequences have been.

If you read humane vitae, you will see that many of the things that Pope Paul was concerned about have come about in our anti life and pro contraception society.

NFP has been a blessing to my husband and I. I wrote about it here back in April.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
