A thankful womens book of blessings.

This is another new weekly meme started by Judy from A Thankful Womens Book of Blessings

My 5 things to be grateful for this week are:

(1) a loving husband and healthy happy children.

(2) date night. We will have a date night tomorrow night. We are ordering chinese take away. The girls are going to the movies and the boys will watch a movie at home while Steve and I have some time alone eating our chinese.

(3) Our Catholic faith and the grace we receive from the sacraments.

(4) All the wonderful friends I have made through blogging.

(5) The intercession of the saints when we are finding life difficult.

Alleluia for date night! I can't believe we only started having them a couple of months ago (and we have three kids under six).
Now I just hang out for it every week, whether we go out or just stay in with the TV off and a nice dinner. A small blessing with a HUGE effect.
(Like the blog, by the way, it's my first visit!)

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
