Double party, double fun.

Today we headed down to the YMCA to celebrate Amelia's and Brigette's 6th and 10th birthday respectivly. I spent most of the day cooking for the party and then we went over there. They had about 17 guests between the two of them and it was lots of fun.

Amelia and her friends got up on the seats at one stage and sang and did the actions to Sk8er boi with a little help from Madeline.

The big hit for all the children though was swinging on the hanging rings. Here is Tom in action. For the last 15 minutes of the party the children all lined up along the hanging rings and took it in turns to be pushed by Sam. When Sam had pushed them really high everyone started chanting jump jump jump jump and the person would jump down onto the mat under them. Happy Birthday girls. I hope you both had a fun day.

Sounds like a really great party. And how nice of Sam to help out. Big brothers can be really great (sometimes):-)

Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
