Steve's family history.

Here is the video of the book Steve made. He researched his family history for about 1 year. This book is the information that he has found about the first Royals that came out to Australia.

Wow - that is very professional looking. I've been researching my family tree for a few years, and last week discovered that my local librarian and I are not only good friends, but first cousins! Small world. I've never thought about putting everything in a book, but what a great idea! I caould make some and give to the rest of my family. Did Steve use a certain program? Or just make his own?

What a treasure for your family! Will each child gets a copy when they graduate college?

I used to work in a Geneology department and swore I would never research my family unless I was guarenteed a Pirate or some other such character.

Well, my dad asked me to look up his grandmother's family. Lucky for me that side had lots of research already done. Which means I didn't have to work that hard. No pirates tho.

Paula,

Steve used word to type up the book and put pictures in.

He did a lot of research to find out how to make a book by looking at you tube video's and reading about book making.

It is great that you found your friend is your cousin. Never know who you are related too.

Lola,

At this stage, he is making copies for his father and immediate family. Maybe he will make copies for our children but my guess is, after making them for his uncles, sister and father that he will be sick of it and just not want to make anymore books.

Pity about there being no pirates in your family history.

Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research.
