At soccer tonight.

The weather here has been a bit cold for the last week. Tonight when we went to watch the soccer it was pretty cold and the wind was strong but Tom and Amelia both put a good fight. Their team lost 2 - 0 to the strikers. Last time they played them though they lost 6 - 0 so they must be improving.

Tom was the goal keeper for the second half.
He was able to stop quite a few goals.

Soccer starts in Port Augusta.

Tonight we had the first round of soccer at Central Oval. Tom and Amelia are our two players this year.

They are playing every Friday night for the next 9 weeks and then in first term next year.

The team Tom and Amelia played won hands down but Tom was goalie for the first half and stopped many goals. He also got a goal in the second half but the referee said no goal because the goalie from the other team had his hand on the ball. Oh well. The season is young and they have plenty of more games to go. I will take some photos at some stage and post them.

The begining of the soccer season.

Tonight Soccer started here. Tom and Amelia are playing in the under 8's and Madeline and Sam are playing in the under 14's. Daniel is coaching an under 8's team (not the team that Tom and Amelia are in).

Tonight was the first game. Tom's played but Amelia had to stay home since she has been home sick today. Daniel's team played Tom's team and it was a draw.

Madeline and Sam are playing now so I will update later how their games went.

Update. Sam and Madeline's team won too.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
