At soccer tonight.

The weather here has been a bit cold for the last week. Tonight when we went to watch the soccer it was pretty cold and the wind was strong but Tom and Amelia both put a good fight. Their team lost 2 - 0 to the strikers. Last time they played them though they lost 6 - 0 so they must be improving.

Before the game

taking a break

Cheering the team on and eating good old chips

more chips yum yum

Tom was the goal keeper for the second half.
He was able to stop quite a few goals.

you got grass!!! its green! :) cold is waking up and finding your car so cold that it wont start. finding ice on your windshield and having to scrape off the windshield when the wind is bitterly cold and howling! now that is cold! that is canada:)

lol Marilena,

That is the only place in town that has grass besides the pool. We have extreme water restrictions here at the moment and most houses don't have grass.

I don't think I could stand to live in the cold you are describing.

We were at soccer also tonight, it did come up really cold, (have had to put my electric blanket back on).

My son's team got badly beaten tonight, they had a couple of key players absent. I won't mention the score. There's always next week to make amends. They have won three out of six games.

They look like they are having a great time. It's good to get out for sun and exercise...and yummy chips. :) It's getting cold here as well. Isn't it funny how we are opposite with the seasons.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
