Olives.

Today Steve, Tom and Christopher went olive picking. They got three buckets full of olives. Steve, Christopher and I all really love olives so I hope they all taste great when they are cured.

To cure them, they are soaked in water. We will change the water twice a day for a couple of weeks. After that we will put them in jars with salt water.

Will let you all know how they turn out.

Cool! We pick cabbage and shred it then pack in in water in big clean garbage cans and make it into saur kraut. I guess that doesn't sound as yummy as olives, but it's sort of a tradition in our family! My sister LOOOOOVES olives. I had no idea how they were cured! That's really cool!

Laura we made sourkraut last year . When I first tried it, I spat it out. It grew in me though and I love it now.

Yes Esther. We are hoping they turn out okay. This is the first time we have done it ourselves.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
