Patron Saint for a year

Seminarian Matthew Has a post about a patron saint for the year. Even though it is half way through the year I have asked him to send me my saint. Go and check out his post and grab yourself a saint for the year. (or at least for the rest of the year).

G'day Therese,

how wonderful to meet a fellow catholic blogger, one of the joy's of our faith is to share it.

Thankyou for your prayers towards my father, they were MUCH needed. I will be doing an update on my father at View from the pews.

I will also add your link to ours, if that is ok with you?:)

Peace and blessings to you,

Marie:)..PS: You have a lovely family.

Hi Marie.

It is fine to put a link to my site on yours. Thanks for adding me. I didn't even ask you to add your link on here.

Hello!

Thank you for asking to take part in the 2007 Saint for the Year Devotion. I pray that through this devotion, all participants ultimately grow closer to God. You were chosen by St. Thomas the Apostle.

Please let me know that you receive this message as well as any connections between your saint and you that you would like to share.

Thanks so much Matthew. I will be asking St. Thomas to pray for me often.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
