My new chair

This is a chair that has a lot of memories for me. My memories are mainly of my mum and dad's dog Monty sitting in it until dad came into the family room and kicked him out so that he could sit in it. I can almost picture him sitting in it today. We always thought of this chair as dad's chair.

I have it at our house now because last time we were in Adelaide, I was sitting in it feeding Joseph and said to my mother, this chair is perfect for feeding in. She offered it to me and I took it.

Daniel picked it up for me last weekend when he was in Adelaide for the Showdown and I have had it since Sunday night. It is good to have something that reminds me of dad.

I love it Therese. It does look perfect for feeding (or cuddling) the baby. I have a special chair of memories like that -- a comfy, upholstered rocker, not my grandmother's but its twin. Makes me feel good just sitting in it.

How precious is this chair Therese? A nice thing to remember your Dad by and a lovely thought of your Mum to offer it to you.

Many happy sitting days to you,
