Sneak Preview.

Tomorrow is Christopher's third birthday. Since he is in bed and asleep, I have got the teddy that I made for him out so you can all see. This is my first time making a teddy. I have made a Raggedy Ann doll before so I had a bit of an idea how to make one. I am really pleased with the way it has turned out.

Happy Birthday to Christopher!! God's abundance of blessings be upon him!

That teddy is soooo cute. I remember having to make those ourselves when most of my children were younger. My youngest is turning 7, oh Therese, you are blessed to have a little one still! And I must say, your children are all blessed to have you and Steve!

That Teddy is REALLY cute! Is it fuzzy fabric or plain? Did you use a pattern online? I'd love to try this.

Happy birthday to your little one. :)

Alexandra, The fabric is polar fleece. the teddy cost us a total of $10.00 to make. It is 75 cm (30 In) tall. A teddy this big would be around $50.00 here.

The pattern is a kwik sew one. See it here

The link actually goes to Kwik Sew main page. The bear is on page three of gifts and things.

The pattern can be downloaded. I have downloaded a couple of their patterns. They are hard to put together but much cheaper than buying the paper pattern.

Hi Therese. I'm glad you opened the comments again. I missed being able to say hello.

That teddy is so cute! What a good job you did! I'm sure Christopher adores it.

The birthday pictures are great. I showed them to little Mary and now she keeps asking to see them again. I think she was quite taken with Christopher. Or maybe it was the teddy and blocks. ;)

Thanks so much for the award! That was so nice. Congratulations to you for receiving it as well!
