Quick 7!!! The holiday edition.

--1--

School Holidays.

Today was the last day of term two. We have two weeks holidays and I am really looking forward to them.

I want to do my winter sewing.

Steve wants to get as much done to our family room/home school room.

We will go to our nieces baptism.

Tom wants to
play computer games, have a family picnic and have some friends over.Link

It would also be good to have a girls day out at some stage.

What do you plan to do in your holidays?

The rescuing hug!!

Gae linked from facebook to this link about a set of premature twins. It is a great story of just how healing a hug can be.

Winter really is here.

The weather forecast for this week in Port Augusta is very cold. The whole week we will have lows of 2 degrees Celsius and our high will be 16 Celsius. For those in America, 2 degrees is 35 and 16 is 60.

Joseph.

This Wednesday, Joseph will be 5 months old. He is showing a great interest in anything and everything we eat. I haven't started any solids yet but I think I will puree some vegetables and freeze them this weekend for him to try.

Family room.

This afternoon, Steve started pulling out the wall that goes between an alcove and old kitchen. We are hoping that our family room/home school room will be mostly done by the end of the holidays.

This post shows the rooms
before we had decided what to do.

I want to put some storage cupboards along the far wall with the window in it.

These are the type of storage cupboards we are considering.

--6--

Jolly Jumper.

Joseph has finally worked out how to really jump in the jolly jumper.

Here is a picture of him in action.

--7--

I cannot think of a number 7 and really need to go to bed.

Don't forget to visit Jen and read other peoples quick takes.

Have a great weekend.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
