Over the weekend, the children were entering their names into google to see what came up. There were many links that we knew about but also a couple that were a surprise.
Today I decided it would be fun to google my maiden name. From it, I came across an old class photo and some old girlfriends from my high school. I have added them on facebook. It was a trip down memory lane for me.
I also found someone that has the same name and lives in Australia. This was a huge surprise since my maiden name isn't all that popular. The person that has the same name as me is a Sr. of St. Joseph. Yet another surprise.
I am thinking of emailing her and seeing if we are related.
All about Therese, Steve, Daniel and Angelique, Sam and Jess, Madeline and Daniel, Brigette and Adriano, Tom, Amelia and Ryan, Christopher and Joseph. Come on in and share a cup of coffee and see what is happening in our lives.

how fun.
nothing too interesting comes up for me.
So I went exploring and found not much...You really had a grand adventure..."Seek and ye shall find!" ;) Cathy
Do email her, that would be fun.
I have never thought to Google my maiden name only my married on- I will have to do that now!
There are at least 4 doctors with my first and maiden name and a director of admissions for a university. Little ole me with nary an accomplishment to my name doesn't come up.
Googling my married name will only turn up me as my married name only exists in my husbands immediate family. There are less than 50 people in the world with it since it was made up on Ellis Island.
I do this every once in a while. My maiden name is German, so I get many results for Germans. There is also a well known German artist with my name. It's a fairly common German last name.
My SIL found a woman on FB with her same name. They are friends now - too funny. They call each other "sister".
That's cool! Someone with my name is a wedding singer in Ireland. Another is a renowned expert on fetal pain - some of her research has been used on legislation to prohibit abortions after a certain term based on her findings about fetal pain. I feel lucky to share her name!
Fun! I've never done that. Must try.
