Abortion is always wrong.

Last week was The March for life in Washington DC. We don't have anything like it here so I wanted to do a post about it here.

Here is a youtube video of people marching past:

So many people standing up for the most innocent of all. Life really is precious and should be protected by all.

Most people I know, don't support abortion except they say when a women has been raped.

I came across a link today at Abba's little girl.

Pregnant by rape.

These stories are heart-wrenching.

Someone also commented at Patty's blog that allowing a women to have an abortion after rape is aiding and abetting the rapist and taking away the evidence.

Great to see so many people prepared to stand for what is right and good.
We so desperately need change in this country which seems to move towards anti life more all the time.
My husband pointed out after the announcement of the tax increase to help flood victims that if the government stopped using our tax money to fund abortions we would all be much better off.

Abortion after rape is the only crime where the victim gets the death penalty.

I wish we had this kind of show of support for the preciousness of human life in Australia! They are much better at this sort of thing in the States, I reckon.

My dear friends and sisters-to-be, the Dominican Sisters of St Cecilia, made a significant showing at the Walk for Life... I was there in Nashville when they found out they were going to Washington DC the following week and you should have heard them cheer!! TOTALLY disturbed any semblance of silence that existed in the motherhouse that afternoon ;-)

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
