Fire!!!!!!

Last night our fire alarm went off and when we looked around, Joseph had dropped one of our carb counting books into the heater. It had caught on fire and given him quite scare. It had started a small fire. We got the book out, turned off the heater and put the fire out. thank goodness we were all close by and it wasn't too serious.

Therese, glad to hear everyone is OK. Last winter our cat saved us from a fire. The cord of our electric radiator heater caught fire and no one noticed except the cat. Her strange behaviour caught our attention before the flames spread to the carpet. Of course, the kids declared the cat a hero!

It's frightening how easily a fire can start - so glad you're all okay:)

Thanks everyone. Our fire alarm went off straight away so we knew from that. No one was really watching what Joseph was doing. It did make my heart beat a thousand miles a minute. When it was all over, one of the other children went to throw the book in the bin and I said, no wait. I need to blog about this first lol.

Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research.
