Haircuts!!!!!!!!!!!

Madeline wanted a hair cut. I said, wait until our next pay day. She said well can I cut it myself. I said yes thinking that she would get someone to help her. She didn't and this is the result.

Overall, she didn't do too bad. The back actually looks pretty good but her fringe is way to short. She wet her hair and didn't realize that it would be shorter when it was dry. It will take a while to grow back.

Then last night, Tom got some bubble gum stuck in his fringe. Instead of coming and telling me, he decided he should cut his hair and this is the result:

Again, not too bad but way to short. Maybe we will give him a number 3. It is just so cold at night here that I am hesitant to cut his hair.

Tell Madeline I think she looks absolutely gorgeous.

And Tom did quite a good job.

Don't worry about the cold if you want him to go shorter; I give my husband a no. 0 and he just wears a beanie outdoors. Looks cute with it too.

Maybe you should invest in some of those clippers guys use to get "buzz cuts"?

NOt too short at all especially for the boy who i personally think has his hair waaay too long. As boys and even now I have crew cuts. yes the girls hair is too short she looks boyish.

Nice job thought you can teach em to cut each others hair and imagine the savings, also a new career path.

LOL! This is a typical kid thing.

They are both beautiful children and would look that way even if they were bald!

Give them both a hug for me.

Hi Therese,
I have short-circuited the haircut thing, as I cut their hair myself. Oh sure, we had some pretty second-rate haircuts first up, but now I can cut their hair like a professional.

It may take me a bit longer, but look at the money that I save, especially in the country. A haircut in our nearest town costs $24. O.o Multiply that by four, for us and you'll see the saving.

My husband says that they must be charging a search fee for his hair, as he doesn't have $24 worth of hair to be cut.

I also enjoy seeing hair well cut, so I make sure that I do a good job.
Blessings,
Jillian
