One year ago at Aussie Coffee Shop!!!!

I thought it would be interesting to look back and see what I posted on here a year ago.

On the 27th of April, 2009 we had the first day of term two. This year, it is the second week.

It was also on this day that we found out Christopher had type one diabetes.

On the 28th of April, I put up some photos that Christopher had taken with my camera.

What did you have going on in your life a year ago?

One year ago I learned that I had AMD - Adult Macular Degeneration (wet in the left eye, but dry in the right eye). The Wet type is the worst because the Retina bleeds.

This year, because of treatment, the bleeding has been stopped and the eyesight has staballized with no further damage. I can still read and drive. And this year I am still trusting God in everything - giving Him Thanks for His Mercies.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
