Back into school.

We start our second term today. Some of the things we are doing this week in home school are:

Making some Anzac biscuits and learning about Anzac day.

Reading The Weight of a Mass to start Tom's preparation to receive his First Eucharist.

We will do a science experiment with growing mold.

I will take our car up to be fixed this morning. We are hoping it won't take too long.

Have a good week.

Therese

I'll be praying for you guys as you start your school. And for Tom as he prepares for First Holy Eucharist. My little one is also preparing and will receive in May. Blessings!

What an awesome book! Our children absolutely love it!

Anne Marie will receive her first holy communion in a few weeks. She is so excited about it!

We will pray for Tom as he prepares to receive our Lord for the first time.

As far as mold-growing experiences, sadly all you'd have to do is dig around in our refrigerator a bit. Somehow something always gets pushed to the back... and forgotten.

It's not his first Eucharist Therese as he has been attending Eucharist since he was born - every Sunday and holy days as well. It will be Tom's first communion !
If it was his 'first eucharist' it would be very disturbing.

Don't we attend Mass? Is attending Mass receiving The Eucharist?

Is it theologically incorrect to say I received my First Eucharist on --------

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
