Thankful Thursday.

Today I give thanks for Tom. I am thankful that in spite of diabetes he still leads a relatively healthy and happy life.

I am thankful that he can have insulin and that we have ways of knowing his blood sugar levels. I am thankful for his pump and that we can provide him with all his needs for a healthy life.

I give thanks especially for his health care providers. They have been a great support to us over the last 8 years.

Those are wonderful things to be thankful for. It is always good to find things to be thankful for in the midst of a cross.

Wonderful! It always smarts when our kids have health issues and they are out of our control. It's nice to know that GOD is walking with us.

Hold onto your seat edge...Alison and I are thinking of driving up for a coffee during the school term break...are you going to be around?

Mary,

That would be great. We would love to meet you.

We have a pretty big house so you are most welcome to stay if you can bear a mattress on the floor.

Email me sometime. My email is on my profile page.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
