Toms sugars dropped too low so he has had to go to hospital to be hydrated. He is on a drip and sugars did come into range at lunch time. I think we have turned a corner but still appreciate any prayers you can offer.
therese, please pray for my mother. she is back in the hospital, and i don't know how serious it is. please add her to your prayer intentions. i have posted it on the Garden. God bless, and may God watch out over Tom. thank you.
Our sons Tom and Christopher are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.

About Me
Aussie Therese
My name is Therese. I am married to Steve. We have been happily married for 18 years.
Our children are:
Daniel 17, Sam 15, Madeline 14, Brigette 12, Tom 9, Amelia 8 and Christopher 4.
I enjoy sewing, reading, doing sudoku and spending time online. When I am online I am here at blogger or at dcf forums.
I am a Catholic and like to share my faith with anyone that is interested in it.
I dislike getting out of bed early. I hate washing clothes and cleaning the bathroom.
I am 43 but still feel the same way I did when I was 21 (except maybe a bit wiser).
My two blogs have two different purposes. Aussie Coffee Shop is about our family and faith. I write about everything and anything that I want. Mary's Prayer Garden is for prayers. If people around the net ask for prayers, I write about it on that blog and pray with anyone that follows along.
Thanks for visiting. Don't be shy. Say hi sometime.

Oh gosh. I am so sorry, Therese. I hope that your son continues to improve ... and that it starts to cool down a bit there, too. God bless.
You all are in my thoughts and my prayers. I'm so sorry you are having such a hard time.
Praying Therese!

I am a type 1 diabetic also and have been since I was 10. (I'm now 40!)
