Please remember Jennifer and Lynn in prayer too.

As well as our family there are two other families that have lost their babies in the last week.

Lynn and Jennifer both found out their babies had no heart beat at their 13 week and 11 week check up. Please keep them in your prayers too.

I also wanted to post this prayer that Lynn got from Mother Angelica.

Miscarriage prayer

My Lord, the baby is dead!

Why, my Lord—dare I ask why? It will not hear the whisper of the wind or see the beauty of its parents’ face—it will not see the beauty of Your creation or the flame of a sunrise. Why, my Lord?

“Why, My child—do you ask ‘why’? Well, I will tell you why.

You see, the child lives. Instead of the wind he hears the sound of angels singing before My throne. Instead of the beauty that passes he sees everlasting Beauty—he sees My face. He was created and lived a short time so the image of his parents imprinted on his face may stand before Me as their personal intercessor. He knows secrets of heaven unknown to men on earth. He laughs with a special joy that only the innocent possess. My ways are not the ways of man. I create for My Kingdom and each creature fills a place in that Kingdom that could not be filled by another. He was created for My joy and his parents’ merits. He has never seen pain or sin. He has never felt hunger or pain. I breathed a soul into a seed, made it grow and called it forth.”

I am humbled before you, my Lord, for questioning Your wisdom, goodness, and love. I speak as a fool—forgive me. I acknowledge Your sovereign rights over life and death. I thank You for the life that began for so short a time to enjoy so long an Eternity.

Therese, that is an absolutely beautiful prayer. Mt mother had 3 miscarriages out of 13 pregnancies, and I never thought till reading that to pray to those 3 little souls to intercede for the salvation of mom and dad's souls. Thank you!

Hi Therese,

You have been in my prayers. I actually just saw this prayer a day or two ago and thought of you.

I will be praying for Lynn and Jennifer as well.

God bless you!

Beautiful prayers. Mother Angelica really understands doesn't she?
May Matthew pray for his family who miss him so much.

Later perhaps when the grief is less sharp you will be comforted with the thought of his prayers.
I know I am at the thought of my little ones sitting before the throne of God.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
