Does anyone know what the friends connect actually is for?
I watched the video and put the link on my sidebar. Then I was asked to invite people and the gadget generated a list of people. I think it is people from my gmail contacts.
I am not really sure what it is though and how it is different from the followers gadget.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. I signed up for it because you sent it, not really sure what it's for yet...all I know is it is the bugger that caused the follower problem this week!
I'm not sure either, maybe google's version of Twitter or Facebook? I liked the old Followers box better! ;)
