I am really looking forward to tasting the King Ranch Chicken and the Italian Meatloaf. The pasties will be for Amelia's birthday which we will celebrate next Thursday. I will make some sausage rolls as well.

Cheese stuffed Meatloaf? Sounds great. And I didn't know you guys did tortillas down there.
BTW, are there any particular dishes the Australians are particularly known for favoring?
I personally love Italian food. If you wanted to do a typical Australian meal it would probably be a bbq or something like that.
Tortilla's are in the shops here. I had a look for a recipe to make our own and it seems we cannot get the flour that they are made with here. I have thought about trying to make them with polenta.
Just wanted to say that I found your blog through my friend Laurie's blog (at Sea Glass Hearts). I love your blog...very cool. I just turned 42 and believe me I know exactly what you mean about feeling 21!
I'll be back!

Oops! I forgo to tell you I love your blog name. My husband and I are so into coffee we roast our own! And it is a very funny story how that came about. But I have to run. Maybe I will blog about it later. Oh! And I have to go roast some java right now...or I won't have any in the A.M.!
I better get crackin'
Peace,
Rachel
Thanks Rachel for letting me know. I was looking at your blog earlier. I will put it in my home schooling links.

These recipes sound great.
We LOVE King Ranch Chicken! I have a recipe somewhere for making something similar, but you use Doritos instead. It's yummy, too!
Once we get John Paul back to where he can have milk products again, I will have to try the Cheese Stuffed Italian Meatloaf. Although, I may just go ahead and try it anyway. He's been tolerating mashed potatoes pretty well...
