Happy Fathers Day

Today is Fathers day.

The children got Steve a big box of chocolates and the DVD of The God's must be Crazy. This movie is such a good laugh.

We went to confession this morning before Mass. We plan on going the first Saturday/Sunday of the month.

We had sausage rolls, pasties and mini quiches for lunch. We made spiders with soft drink and icecream. We are going to start our family scrapbook this afternoon and take the children to the park.

I still haven't folded the washing so it is building up but I will make it a priority to do after tea tonight.

LOL I loved 'The God's Must be Crazy' it's so funny and with a good Moral to it.

I just found a site which promotes teenage modelling where modesty is stressed. This is good news for all teenagers. I hope all girls will be confident of how they look irrespective of size.

Let me know what you think when you have the time?

Peace & blessings

Sounds like a wonderful day! Ohh...I love scrapbooking. I was hoping to have Gabriella's done by tomorrow (Sept 3/Labor Day), but it won't be. :( I have made some pretty good progress. I have about 8 more pages left, and I have completed 20. :)

20 pages is pretty good. We did the family page yesterday and next Sunday we will start on Christopher. Each person is going to have a double page about them.

Happy Belated Father's Day to Steve.

I'm not much into scrapbooking, although I should be. Amanda is the one who creates a great scrapbook. She makes me regret my not having any talent for art :(

Dawn,

I don't have much artistic talent either. Steve is much more creative with things like this. We have made this a family activity because we can all contribute in some way. All I did on Sunday was suggest the layout for the family page.

Brigette and Madeline did stenciling, Amelia and Tom stuck the stickers and Steve did the cut and paste of our faces onto one picture.

Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
