Well I missed Tasty Tuesday so today is Tasty Thursday.

I promised Blondie that I would post my pizza recipe so here it is.

Ingredients.

2 and a 1/4 Teaspoons of yeast
1 teaspoon of sugar.
2/3 cup of warm water
2 cups of flour
2 tablespoons of Oil.

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in hot water and leave till it is creamy. (about 10 minutes). Add the flour and oil. mix together and turn out onto bench. kneed for about 4 minutes adding more flour if it is too wet.

put in lightly oiled container. Roll in oil so that it is covered with oil. Put a damp cloth over it and leave in a warm place till it has doubled in size. (about 45 minutes)

Before rolling out the dough preheat oven onto 475 Fahrenheit (about 220 Celsius)

Roll dough out on a pizza tray and top with your favourite toppings.

Here are a couple of our favourites to put on.

Ham and pineapple.

Cheese, Tomato and basil.

Cream cheese and peperoni

BBQ sauce, mince cooked with bacon and taco seasoning, cheese.

This is the same recipe I use too!! I use 1/2 whole wheat and 1/2 all purpose flour.

Judy,

When we make pizza we make two with all purpose flour and two with wholemeal flour. The wholemeal is harder to kneed but it still is just as good.

Pizza! Now I'm getting hungry! My fave is a pesto sauce and chicken topping with artichoke hearts and sundried tomatoes. Yum!

I just got some pesto sauce yesterday. Maybe we will try this one too. Thank PG.
