oh baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Russian mom's 12th child weighs in at 17 pounds.

For those that use metric that is over 8 kg.

Much too much baby for this mum.

Yikes my heaviest were half that!

The same with me. My heaviest was 3990 grams. Only 10 grams of 4 kg. That is 8 pound 9 for you non metric people.

My heaviest was 9lbs. My first was born in Germany so he weighed in at a metric number just under 4000g. I can't even imagine 17lbs!

Hey Therese:)

Catching up with your blog.

That's a really big baby indeed, I was a big baby, 9lbs 9oz, but wow 17lbs is a whole lot of baby....

Two of my children weighed over 10 lbs. (one was almost 11 lbs) when they were born...and no c-section. I can't imagine giving birth to a baby that weighed 17 lbs. Praying that the mom doesn't have any health issues because of it.

Wow Michelle. That is big. I was just working out that my three lightest children (weighing 2.9, 2.9 and 3.1) were just about the same weight as this baby. 2.9kg is just on 6lb and 3.1 is 6lb and 6 oz.

Hi Micki,

Welcome to my blog. Ouch sums up this story pretty well.

Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
