one week.

Today it is a week since Steve and the children left. The younger children are starting to feel the strain of them all being away and not having as many people in the house.

Tom, Amelia and Christopher have all cried over small things today and the afternoon when we were going out Christopher jammed his fingers in the car door. It really hurt but I was starting to feel a bit impatient with all the tears we have had today and didn't really offer much sympathy to him.

He seems over it now so hopefully tomorrow will be a better day than today. I am planning on doing some craft activities with the children tomorrow morning so hopefully they will be a bit more occupied and won't whine as much as they did today. I think I was too busy doing my own thing today and that is why they were all crying and whining.

awww:) they miss their dad and siblings:) awwww:) we have a large family too, and i can tell you, i miss my sisters alot! sometimes it makes me teary eyes, but i get over it when i hear their voices on the phone:) i especially miss shirley and my younger sister and my mom:) mom and my younger sister and her 3 kids are coming next week:) my sisters child will be baptized in the traditional church we attend, and i will be the god-mother and frank the god-father. i have never been a god-mother and frank has never been a god-father either before. so the joy will be immense for us all. family is one of God's greatest gifts to us. when they are away, or live far apart, it is hard. perhaps your kids could help you cook, and have a game night? or perhaps you and they could have a question and answer night about the life of Christ, or the Bible? just an idea:)

Hugs and hugs to you dear Therese and to your children.

I thought I'd let you know that we have families here getting hooked up with WYD there since many of us cannot make it. It will be held at one of our retreat houses. My 2 teens are so excited about it. We will be leaving soon...

This is testimony to the devotion of your family to each other, it's beautiful.
I'll let you know about the girl's Rosaries! They have more centres and crucifixes arriving next week and will make more then. I will send you photos when they are done. Thank you for the ebay idea!!
May Our Lady cover you in her peace and bring much joy to your home today.

Hi Therese - and ouch! Sorry to hear you're stuggling a little right now. Only a couple of days to go - but, if you feel like a drive in the meantime, you're welcome!

God bless,

Linda.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
