This is just so sad.

I received an email today that asked me to vote in a poll.

In this poll 70% of Australians say that laws should change so that terminally ill patients can end their lives.

This just makes me feel sick.

When the world arrives at that stage of decline we only can hope that it turns around and begins again.

Yes, this is awful. I have always told my husband that first it is abortion and then it will move and get worse from there. I was a Hospice nurse for 8 years and we worked hard to keep our patients alert, comfortable, and living with dignity. We also tried to give as much support to the patients, their families, and give lots of TLC.

Pray that the value of life will only increase rather than decrease as it seems it is doing.

How are things going for the hubby and kids on WYD?

God Bless!!

Blessed be God forever!

In reply to Kimberly...My mom is on hospice and there are a coupld of nurses that are encouraging her to start using morphine gas. Finally, I asked for a physician review and the hospice doc called my mom personally and told her that the morphine gas was not a recommendation at this time. Next, the nurse was "no longer with the company." Sorry to ramble, this topic just hits a nerve. angie

Yes, this is very disturbing Therese.
I voted against it.
Forgive those, for they know not what they do.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
