Today I got a set of cards in the post from Catholic Convert from the blog Catholic Down Under.
Tom and Amelia lined them all up on the bed and I took a photo but someone decided to delete the photo because they didn't like it on a bed. That person is now lining them up to take another photo for me to upload later.
The prayer cards are great. They come from Catholic Prayer Cards.
So anyone want to start swapping Holy Cards?
Thanks CC for your generosity in getting them sent out and sending the two sets onto us.
All about Therese, Steve, Daniel and Angelique, Sam and Jess, Madeline and Daniel, Brigette and Adriano, Tom, Amelia and Ryan, Christopher and Joseph. Come on in and share a cup of coffee and see what is happening in our lives.

No worries.
Offspring #1 was disgusted when he got a card with 'prayer for married couples' on it. He traded two cards (that one plus another) to get St. Bernadette :-)
When we award a card (for good behaviour, good school work, demonstrating virtues), we pull three or four cards partially out of the pack (so that you can't see the whole card) and the kids take one at random.
Offspring #2 wanted Mother Teresa ... it was the first card she drew (at random).
I'll get the kids to come up with a list of cards they want to swap....
I would love to swap. I will purchase some new ones to swap since I take my cards and punch a hole in them and put them on a ring. My little ones play with them during Mass and since they only see this ring when they are at Mass it is special to them. What a great idea you have to swap. Let me know what I need to do.
God bless and my love and prayers.
How is your son feeling?
Blessed be God forever!

I've never heard of swapping Holy Cards. Is this a common practice or a new thing? It seems like a fun thing for kids. Have fun!!!
Kimberly, If you buy the sample packet and see which ones you have doubled up on and which ones you don't have. If we post on our blogs the cards we have available and those which we want, we can then swap them.
ACM, I think CC came up with the idea because children like to swap and have secular cards. He thought it would be good for them to do with holy cards.
I would like to swap holy cards. I have many from Italy. How can we do that?
