Happy Birthday Tom.

Nine years ago today, I gave birth to our 5th child, Thomas Peter. He was our third boy and a healthy 7#6 oz (3.1kg)

We bought Tom some meccano for his present. It has been a hit. He also got the movie Narnia which the children all watched this morning.

We celebrated Tom's birthday by going to Whyalla for bowling.

After bowling we went to Hungry Jacks for lunch. (total carb overload for Tom with 75 carbs in his meal) Just as well he is on a pump and we can input the carbs. He was shocked though at the insulin he needed.

While we were in Whyalla Sam bought Guitar Hero for the Wii.

Happy Birthday Tom. We hope you have a great day. You are a blessing to our whole family.

Happy Happy Birthday Tom. So glad your new pump is here and working well. My Tom, age 45, started a NutriSystem diet last week. He has been amazed and how little insuline he has to take. And I think a lot amazed at how much he was having to take before. We got a bit slacked on our eating habits. So stay as good as possible but, it's nice to cut loose every now and again. The pump is a blessing.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
