Rick Rolled.

I have been rick rolled a couple of times. I thought it was really funny. I started to wonder how it started.

I really loved the Macys thanksgiving parade rick roll and the fox news girl.

I was thinking about doing something on my blog today to rickroll you all but couldn't find any that were as good as Macy's which everyone has seen now. I looked though at the original film clip of Rick Astley singing this song and thought boy you can see this was made in the 80's.

Here it is for your enjoyment.

There's a couple of disturbing things going on with this music clip. First, it horrifies me to admit that I probably thought it was a really 'cool' video clip in the 80's. Second, I can remember the lads wearing there pants under their arm pits (so sad) and lastly I am still found myself bopping along to it now. Now that is disturbing ;)

lol Mary,

I think many people rock along to this song. It could have been much worse and they could have done another one hit wonder like Oh Mickey by Toni Basil.

meant to ask. What's a rick roll? Oh yes and I had coffee with Alison today - she mentioned you had been to visit her place looking at some books. Did you find my blog through her blog?

Rick Roll started (I think) as an April fools day joke.

I have to find the video because it explains itself much better than I could.

I think I saw your blog at Allison's but I came there from a comment you posted at Nanna K's blog.

Talk about Blast from the Past! Oh my goodness, in the 80's I used to go out with a boy who looked just like him, don't think he could sing as well though! LOL!

I used to love this song. Does that make me completely daft?
