Tomorrow.

I am having my scan. Brigette and Madeline will come with me and see our baby.

We are hoping to find out the sex this time.

I haven't ever asked about the sex with the others except for with Brigette. It was only because we had to have another scan at 34 weeks and the sonogram technician said she had a good shot of the babies sex if I wanted to know.

It will be a bit different knowing.

Hi Therese. I'm sure the Lord won't mind you knowing the sex of your baby. I guess if we were never ever meant to know before the birth God would not have created the means for man or woman to discover & invent machines that could check for us. The surprise is nice but knowing is just as nice. Will you keep it a surprise for us? ... oooh, cheeky aren't I, lol.
Take care.

God Bless,
Elena :)

We always learned the sex of ours ahead of time, and I'm glad. It allowed us to give them a name long ahead of time. If we did have another baby, I would like to try to keep it as a surprise though just to see how that would be.

Looking forward to hearing about your scan!

I didn't find out for two babies, and then did find out for the next two. I think it's exciting either way.

If you don't find out, the birth is extra exciting, but if you do find out, you get to have 2 exciting days (the ultrasound day and then the birth).

I think for everyone else, it's not as exciting to hear that the baby's been born when they already know the sex and/or name. But, it is a great way to plan and bond with the baby before you meet him/her.

Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research.
