15 days to go: Trying to keep busy.

In the count down to my due date, we have 15 days to go today. I really hope he doesn't go over or if he does, it isn't too long.

Yesterday after Mass, Steve drove us over to Whyalla for some shopping. My favourite shop in Whyalla is Spotlight. Toyworld is attached to Spotlight in Whyalla so the children love coming there with me too lol.

Tom had some birthday money to spend and Brigette had some Christmas money so they both went straight into Toyworld as soon as we got there.

The girls, Tom and Christopher all choose some fabric for some different things and I got some for myself and the baby too. My plan for the next few days is to sit at the sewing machine and get the children doing all the housework. I will say to them, you want some new clothes, you need to do xyz.

Temps are going to be in the high 30's/low 40's for the rest of the week so sitting under the airconditioner sewing sounds like the best way to spend it.

Dear Therese,
I adore Spotlight but rarely get there, just as well as I tend to buy up. My excuse it I hardly ever get to shop and there are so many things for 'school' purposes.
I pray that you are comfortable in these last days and that you enjoy that time with the family.
Praying for you
God Bless

Hi Therese,
I'm counting the days down with you, I'm so excited for you all :D

I looove Spotlight but always have to make the trip alone.
David can't handle my visits there, says I take too long!

Can you ever spend too much time in Spotlight??? :)

Have a great day

lol Kym,

Steve actually went to the local library while we were in spotlight and I sent him a text when we were at the counter being served.

I was surprised that Tash's husband loves spotlight too. I don't think Steve could think of a worse place to shop.

Whyalla is nearly one hour away from Port Augusta so usually if I go there we are there a long time and I buy a lot of fabric. I wrote out a list last night and have nearly 20 different things to sew. The two older girls will do some of them though.

Therese, I have not been over to see how your are doing for the longest time because my virus blocker popped up every time I clicked onto your blog. I am happy to see that I can get in now. Only 15 days!! I am sure you are so very ready. Hoping to see pictures soon.

Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research.
