A fun night.

Tonight the pageant was on in Port Augusta.

We went along to help out with the scout bbq. I did the serving while Steve watched the younger children and the pageant.

After the pageant we headed down to Hungry Jacks for tea. Pageant night is their busiest night of the year. They have free lucky dips for the children, free photo's with Santa and 10% of for staff families. Both Daniel and Sam work at Hungry Jacks so we got our 10% off.

In town they usually have a party with free rides. Over the last couple of years Steve and I have found this really stressful and hard to keep an eye on where our children are so going to Hungry Jacks for tea was a nice alternative.

This weekend Daniel and Sam will put up our Christmas lights.

Sam, Brigette and Amelia will finish school next week on Wednesday so that will probably be Tom's last day of home school too. Madeline will finish of Friday and Steve should finish on Monday week. We will have 6 weeks of holidays and are looking forward to our Christmas break.

Hi! Hope you post a photo of your lights. Hope I get mine up too.

Wow! Six weeks of vacation. Here we'll have one. Our Lady Of Victory is a long (38week) program.

Have a lovely weekend!

These are our summer holidays.

Our school year starts at the end of January. We have 4 terms of 10 or 11 weeks. Inbetween the first, second and third terms we have a two week break. At the end of the year we have a six week break.

How fun! I love Christmas pageants. :)

I bet you're looking forward to your summer vacation. :)

BTW, I've tagged you for a Christmas meme on my blog, if you get a chance.

God bless! +

Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
