A casual dress for Madeline.

These two New Look patterns are for Amelia.

Some casual pants for me. (Another New Look pattern)

I love the styles you have chosen! For all my ability to quilt and embroider, I struggle with making clothes. You're a very talented mum, Therese!

i know Shirley can sew:) me? not on your life! :) i can knit, yes indeed. its fun too. but only scarves! my mom on the other hand can not only knit everything, but she can sew as well! :) so what is my talent then? cooking. definitely cooking. i love cooking! i want to take a course in gourmet cooking for home. if one ever becomes available here, i will take it:)

Those patterns look adorable. I wish that I could sew, it's not too late yet. Maybe I will take lessons. You have at least got me thinking about it.

I'm like purpleflowerpatch - The last time I tried to make a dress it ended up looking like a flour sack on my. I get all the pieces together just fine but something happens with the fit....

Those patterns look very nice. I'd love to see them when they're all finished! I need some inspiration to start sewing again!

Looks like you will be busy! Are you teaching your children to sew?

Yes Shirley.

The girls all like sewing and I give Tom and Amelia a lesson most weeks as a part of their home school curriculum.

We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research.
