Victoria decriminalizes Abortion laws.

This makes me feel sick

As soon as I read that the bill looked like passing, Steve and I sat down and prayed the sorrowful mysteries of the rosary. Unfortunately the bill still passed.

Premier John Brumby said he was pleased the bill had passed and he believed they had done the right thing.

How sad that a Premier believes killing innocent little babies is the right thing to do.

Therese, we need to be praying everyday for an end to Abortion throughout the world. This is truly a worldwide genocide. It affects all of us. Unless these men and women have a change of heart many nations will fall because of Abortion. We cannot continue to kill our own and expect no repercussion. In our country, there are folks who are calling the most pro-abortion man in the nation, the Messiah. It is unbelievable what is happening. Prayer for forgiveness and the conversion of sinners should be our unceasing pleasure and consolation at this time. There is no time to waste.

Therese,

Just a small correction: the bill has passed the second reading. It will become law after the amendments have been considered and a third vote is taken.

Let's pray that the amendments will restore some humanity to the bill.

Thanks Bob. I will continue to pray for the amendments.

It is dreadful and I am glad that Cardinal Pell put out a statement of this terrible bill..I prayed that it would be defeated..Let us continue to pray for an end to abortion and it's evils.

Peace to you Therese:)

It's not looking good even with the vote on the amendments. If made law Victoria will have the most liberal abortion laws in Australia. I feel so sick inside ... I'm not discouraged though and neither is my son who also has been fighting his hardest against this bill, but we needed to have a day of tears on Friday, so we can now continue to move on with the fight. The youth in Victoria are on the move and will not rest until all is put right. Watch for them, they are "on fire" especilly those who have come from WYD08 (and it's 'infectious')... and they will eventually fight on around Australia too. Thank you all for your prayers - keep them up.
God Bless you, Elena

It's terrible.
It makes me feel sick (literally), knowing how many people support abortion.
How can they be so naive...to the fact that it is MURDER!
I can't get past how Doctors perform abortions (especially the later ones), and live with themselves after "seeing" the child they kill.
Let us never stop praying for those who support abortion...and for all of those innocent, dear little babies.

Therese, thank you for the congratulations on my blog:)

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
