Found!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The pump was found inbetween the slats of the lounge. You can see on the pump, that the tube broke right at the edge of it. I set the pump up and put it in. Even though he had the background insulin his bsl went up to 21.3.(383) so we have corrected and hopefully he will come down.

Thanks so much for the prayers.

Hi Therese,
I will be praying that his bsl's come down quickly. That is very high, isn't it? I'm just going on what an adult's bsl should be - under seven.
Blessings,
Jillian

Yay! Prayers were answered.

Hi Jillian,

Most children with diabetes get numbers like that at some stage. It is because they have no insulin. I remember a friend of mine with type two freaking out because his sugar went up to 12.5 and I said to him, boy I wish we dealt with highs like that.

He has come down nicely and we are grateful once more for his pump. It really is much easier to manage his bsl.

Thanks Laura and Euripides for your prayers and support.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
