Today my mother and mother in law arrive for Tom's first communion. They are staying till Monday. On Saturday, Tom's God parents will arrive with 4 of their 5 children. We will have a full house but I am sure it will be a fun and memorable time for Tom.
I still have a few things to prepare before Sunday for Tom but I am confident it will all get done.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Therese....I LOVE First Holy Communions! It is so exciting to know that our children are receiving our Lord in such a special way for the first time!

my first holy communion was over 30 years ago, and i barely recall it, but recall being pretty happy. God bless tom as he receives the most holy Eucharist!
