bloglines.

Eather has been trying to subscribe to my blog with bloglines. She got this message first:

Available Feeds
No title
Therese:
Sat, Sep 29 2007 8:13 AM (0 subscribers)

http://aussiecoffeeshop.blogspot.com
Preview This Feed
Options

And this one when she clicked on the icon in the side bar:

# http://aussiecoffeeshop.blogspot.com (0) (0) [!]

Can someone please have a go and see if they can get a subscription to this and if they have the same problem or does anyone know why Esther is having this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I have tried unsuccessfully to subscribe via Blogspot's atom feed. I am lazy on normally only use the RSS feed reader which comes with Safari (ie Mac OS X). I get a 'Safari can't open the page' for the feed address (http://aussiecoffeeshop.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default).

So I subscribed via the Feedburner feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/xEQm) at the bottom of the page and it works like a dream!

Sorry was that too long and verbose? Nice blog btw. Australian Catholic bloggers unite!

I wonder if some html code is missing.

Well my feedburner account tells me that no one is subscribed to this blog. But obviously you are Bob.

computers can be frustrating.

I suscribe to your blog via Blog Reader (google)...never have a problem :)

so is blog reader the same as bloglines?

Theresa, blog reader is a feature of Google. It isn't the same as bloglines.

I tried to get in via the rss feeder like Bob Catholic, but here's the message I got. "The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

I'll try the feedburner as Bob did, then come back and let you know.

I love your blog. I'm in the USA

Hi Mary Ellen.

Thanks for your help. I am thinking that I probably have some html code missing if the rss feed isn't working. I may have to get my husband to look at it.

Thanks also for your compliments about my blog. I have been over and looked at Grandma's musings. I like your blog too.

Therese and all, I have been thinking of using Google reader maybe this is a good time to start.

I was able to subscribe as Bob did through Feedburner, but it's an email notification. I prefer the RSS feed.

Also I tried to subscribe through the Blogger Reader and this message came up: "(title unknown)" has no items.
To add a subscription there I just copy and paste from your address bar, but not all blogs can be found by Reader. But I see that Karin was able to subscribe that way. Maybe she subscribed before this problem arose

Aren't computers irritating? Yet I love them. Hope your husband can help you with your code.
