Next week the cross from World Youth Day is coming to Port Augusta. My two older son's have been on the planning committee that organises the festivities why they are here.

Daniel is holding the banner and Sam is standing next to him.

How far away is WYD from where you live? I imagine Australia is huge!!!

Over 2000 Km Esther. We thought we would take the children there but have decided against it. It probably isn't a good idea to go with 7 children to a place that is so crowded with people.

We will be having things in our parish in June and I am going to put my hand up for an international visitor to stay with us.

Wow Therese, that is quite the distance. A group from our diocese is going but Joey didn't want to go without us. It is very expensive though. Maybe next time when he is older.

Maybe the next one will be closer to Hawaii. Maybe it will be in Hawaii.

Please pray for a cure for Type One Diabetes
Our sons Tom and Christopher and our daughter Amelia are type one diabetics. We pray everyday for a cure. We do not want one by illicit means though so don't support any organisation that contributes to Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Click on the photo of Tom and Christopher to read about why I am against using Embryonic Stem cells for a cure.
