Demographic Winter.
Yesterday in the post we got our copy of Demographic winter. I am so happy we bought it.
At first I found it a bit hard to follow because they switch from expert to expert but the show is stock full of statistics.
I highly recommend this movie. We are certainly glad to have a copy of it and will be sharing it with lots of people.

Really very GOOOD, indeed! Have a good day! Cathy
I'll have to see if I can find a copy.
We just received our copy this week, too. I can't wait to watch it. Hopefully that will happen this week.

Looks interesting! I've heard people who work and live in developing countries say that their populations are soaring exponentially and it needs to be controlled. I ordered a book not too long ago called "Population Control: Real Costs, Illusory Benefits" by Steven R. Mosher, who is the president of the Population Research Institute. I'm looking forward to reading it, and hoping to learn a thing or two! :)
Get the facts Therese. The world population is going to rise from 6.5 billion to 9 billion over the next 40 years and then flatten out or fall slowly.
Maybe a demographic winter in western coutries but they have unlimited opportunity to take migrants from china, india etc.

The world population is going to rise from 6.5 billion to 9 billion over the next 40 years and then flatten out or fall slowly.Perhaps, but even if what you say is true, there will not be enough younger people around to care for the older ones.
